PARIS, January 2023. Noctua Care, a digital health company developing patient support for people recovering from acute coronary syndrome, has been selected for the seventh promotion of the e-santé incubation programme run by Paris&Co, the City of Paris’s innovation and business development agency.
Founded in November 2022 by Hugo Weidmann and Alexander Dmoch, Noctua Care is building a digital companion that accompanies coronary patients across the full length of their care pathway. The programme provides paramedical, nutritional, physical activity and psychosocial support, addressing the period after hospital discharge when patients are most often left without structured follow-up.
The Paris&Co health programme gives selected companies access to workspace, mentoring, and connections into the Paris hospital and healthcare innovation ecosystem. For Noctua Care, incubation comes two months after incorporation and marks the company’s first institutional support.
Cardiovascular disease remains among the leading causes of death in France. Patients discharged after a myocardial infarction face a compressed window in which medication adherence, physical reconditioning and psychological recovery all determine long-term outcomes, and in which contact with the health system is at its most sparse.
