This policy describes how Noctua Care handles personal information collected through the website www.noctua.care. The Noctua Care app handles health information and has its own privacy policy. The two are separate documents.

What we collect and why

This site never asks for health information. Please do not send any through the contact form or by email — the channel is not built for it and it is not a route to care. In an emergency, call 911.

Answering your enquiry

• Data: name, email address, the content of your message
• Basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who write to us
• Kept for: 3 years from the last exchange

Running and securing the site

• Data: technical logs, truncated IP address, browser type
• Basis: our legitimate interest in a secure service
• Kept for: 12 months

Measuring and improving the site

• Data: pages viewed, time on page, device, country, pseudonymous identifier
• Basis: your consent
• Kept for: 13 months at most

Who receives it

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. It is accessible to authorised people at Noctua Care and to the following processors, each under a written data processing agreement:

• Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States) — website hosting, served from the Paris region (cdg1)
• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) — audience measurement, only after you consent
• Contentsquare (Content Square SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France) — behavioral analysis, only after you consent

International transfers

Some of these tools may transfer data outside the European Union, including to the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, an adequacy decision. Declining analytics cookies prevents them.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your information, its correction or deletion, a restriction on how we use it, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and does not affect what was done beforehand.

Write to contact@noctua.care and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to a supervisory authority — for Noctua Care that is the CNIL in France.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to data is limited to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure: we take technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we receive any, we delete it.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page along with the date it took effect.
