PARIS / BORDEAUX, January 2026. Noctua Care has begun its first clinical trial, conducted with CHU de Bordeaux under the DiSuACS protocol.
The study offers the digital application to patients hospitalised for acute coronary syndrome or myocardial infarction. Its objective is to characterise the specific population of patients experiencing an acute coronary syndrome and to evaluate the effectiveness, acceptability and impact of the Noctua Care solution in the period following hospitalisation. Findings will inform improvements to the solution ahead of a cohort study evaluating the impact of its use.
CHU de Bordeaux is the sponsor. The study is registered with the Plateforme des données de santé. Participants receive a study-specific information notice setting out their rights under Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR, with requests handled by the data controller in coordination with the CHU de Bordeaux data protection officer.
The trial is conducted within Station [e]-Santé, the France 2030 health experimentation site, with the Service des Maladies Coronaires et Vasculaires and the Soutien Méthodologique Innovation et Prévention team.
The period following discharge after a cardiac event is critical and structurally under-supported. Patients face treatment side effects, anxiety about activity-induced secondary events, and uncertainty about returning to work, with the result that most do not engage in physical activity during their first year after a heart attack.
